Embroidery digitizing - Is outsourcing really bad?

Do you own an embroidery business or are you an enthusiast - whether you embroider your designs on multi-head embroidery machine from Tajima, Melco, Barudan or SWF or a small Brother at home - it is a must that your designs are digitized before they can be transfered to the machine.

A big professional company might have a big in-house designing department employing designers and digitizers - but what happens if you are a small business run by the family members or an enthusiast who finds embroidering on quilts or table covers to be the best means of unwinding.

The question that always raise in your mind: - is it such a bad idea to outsource your embroidery digitizing?

How can you justify embroidery digitizing outsourcing?

Will it be expensive?

How will you order and receive your designs?

How will you pay?

What about the quality?

How will you explain what you want?

What are the options????

I will cover each of the above-mentioned issues and will gladly answer other questions posted on this blog.
